The KMyMoney development team is proud to present a first maintenance release of its open source Personal Finance Manager 5.2 series. Most notably is the improved support for KF6/Qt6 which some distros switched to and users reported some odd behavior when using Qt6. Fortunately, most of them could be fixed. One oddity remains and that is the screen usage when using KMyMoney's tabbed view.
Also, the database code was missing an update function which caused the application to hang after start when using SQL based backends. The missing function has been added to fix this problem.
A few UI related improvements also found their way into this release.
Due to a fixed usage of Ctrl+Alt+T to open a terminal in KF6, the default shortcut to open the tab order editor has been changed to Alt+Meta+T. The functionaly remains the same.
KMyMoney now requires newer minimum versions for some libraries due to improvements, bugfixes and Qt6 support. They are:
